Job Description

As a Security Professional – Government Site - Full Time in Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by responding to situations as they arise and supporting access control measures. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we are committed to working together with integrity while putting people first. This is not an armed or driving post.

Pay Rate: $22.88 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings.
  • Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with AU driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
