Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to protect clients across multiple industries. You will use a shift‑pickup platform to build a schedule based on availability, gaining site experience and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or client vehicles.
• Background check per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 (21 if armed in some states).
• Reliable with ability to adapt to different posts.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment and communicate with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or vehicle.
• Monitor for unusual conditions creating safety concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire as needed.
• Warn violators and manage access points.
• Observe personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper property removal.
• Investigate incidents and maintain post logs.
• Assist customers and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
