Job Description

Immediate opening for a flex Security Officers. Requires at least 2 years of Security Experience. Applicants will be required to work at various locations in Romulus and Dearborn. Must be available all shifts and able to work weekends. Pay between $17.50 and $19 depending on site. PLEASE UPLOAD A CURRENT RESUME.

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. Use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim shifts based on your availability, allowing flexible scheduling and site experience across industries. This position may involve irregular shifts with little notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police/fire in emergencies
• Warn violators of infractions like loitering or smoking
• Monitor entrances and exits, permit authorized access
• Protect against theft, ensure proper property removal
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, maintain logs
• Assist customers, employees, visitors courteously
• Make emergency notifications as per site orders

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience
• State/local licensing requirements
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle
• Background check and drug screening
• No prior experience required
• Minimum age 18 (21 if armed)
• Reliability, adaptability, communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience
