Job Overview

Location: Louisville, KY

Starting Pay: $17.40 / Hour

Schedule: Flex

As a Security Professional Flex Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries, such as Healthcare, Education, and Finance. You will use our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts based on your availability, allowing you to build a flexible schedule while gaining valuable site experience. This role may require working irregular shifts at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions
• Sound alarms or contact emergency services when necessary
• Warn violators of infractions
• Control access points and monitor entrances/exits
• Protect company property and ensure proper procedures for property removal
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally
• Make emergency notifications as required

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle
• Background check and drug screening required
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed)
• Reliable, adaptable, able to operate communication equipment
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to assess situations quickly and mediate conflicts

• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience
