Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. The Security Professional Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Security Professional Flex Officer, you’ll use our exclusive shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability, giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across industries. This position may require irregular shifts with little notice.

Site Location: Commerce, GA 30529

Pay: $17 Per Hour

Employment Type: Part Time

Availability: On-call position — no set schedule, working any shift and day of the week

We offer attractive pay options including DailyPay, Weekly Pay, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or hazards
• Sound alarms or call police/fire departments in emergencies
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter and monitor entrances/exits
• Observe and protect against theft, ensuring authorized property removal
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally
• Make emergency notifications as per site Post Orders

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Licensing requirements vary by location and may be required prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company or client vehicle
• Background check and drug screening required
• No prior experience required
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed)
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to operate communication equipment
• Effective communication and active listening skills
• Ability to assess situations quickly, mediate conflicts tactfully, and work in a team
• Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
