Job Description

As a Security Professional - Financial Patrol in Port Jervis, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a financial institution setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for clients and staff. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. You will embody our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, working collaboratively with your team and always acting with integrity to put people first.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day TimeMon 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the location, following established protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Support emergency response activities and assist with evacuations or other procedures as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
