Job Description

As a Security Professional - Driving Patrol in Commerce City, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the facility, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we work together with integrity to put people first in all interactions.

Pay Rate: $21.03 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within logistics and distribution locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and monitor for security-related incidents.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized personnel from accessing restricted areas.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Fire Safety Professional (FSP) certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
