Job Description

As a Security Professional - Dispatch Patrol in Armonk, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Dispatch Officer in a financial institution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a visible deterrent, while your strong communication skills support exceptional customer service. You will work collaboratively with your team, upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity, and always putting people first in every interaction.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Assist with dispatch operations, coordinating communication between team members and responding units as required.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain awareness of the location's environment and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• New York Security Professional Guard Card required.
• At least 1 year of security experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
