As a Security Professional - Defense Patrol in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a secure environment by responding to incidents and supporting access control measures. Pay Rate: $21.53 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Document and communicate any security-related incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
