Job Description

As a Security Professional - Campus Patrol in Pleasantville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents as needed, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.71 / Hour

Job Schedule

DayTime

Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general inquiries as needed.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site policies.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
