Job Description

As a Security Professional - Campus Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will embody our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, working collaboratively with others and always acting with integrity to support a positive campus atmosphere.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur10:30 PM - 07:00 AMFri10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a visible presence and observing for unusual behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to site protocols.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
