As a Patrol Armed Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. **Position Type: Full Time**

**Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

Thur05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ North Carolina Armed Security Professional License preferred.

+ North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
