Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Law Enforcement in Land O Lakes, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team, always acting with integrity and putting people first through teamwork. This role may also involve driving as part of your patrol duties.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and adherence to established protocols.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site requirements.
• Collaborate with local authorities and site personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess a valid Florida Armed Security Professional License.
• Must have an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must have an Armed Designation as required by the post.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Must be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or have equivalent experience.
• Must possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Must possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Must be trained and authorized to carry handcuffs while on duty.
• Must be trained and authorized to carry pepper spray while on duty.
• Must be trained and authorized to carry a sidearm while on duty.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
