Job Description




As a Security Professional - Armed Government Site in Land O Lakes, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and may involve driving responsibilities. You will interact with the public, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the location.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering the premises.
  • Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or issues according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Florida Armed Security Professional License.
  • Must have an Armed Designation as required by the post.
  • Must be qualified and authorized to carry and use handcuffs while on duty.
  • Must be qualified and authorized to carry and use pepper spray while on duty.
  • Must be qualified and authorized to carry and use a sidearm while on duty.
  • Must be qualified and authorized to carry and use a Taser while on duty.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of employment.
  • Must be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program, or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
