As a Security Professional - Aero Desk in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and assisting with access control to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we foster a caring culture that puts people first while working together with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.30 / Hour

Job Schedule

DayTime

Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, verifying identification and access credentials as required by site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any security-related incidents.
• Communicate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Follow all site-specific policies and procedures relevant to an aerospace and defense environment.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
