Job Description

As a Security Professional - Access Control - Overnight in Rocky Mount, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help prevent unauthorized access, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain control over who enters and exits the premises.
• Document and report any unusual activities or incidents observed during patrols or while monitoring access control points.
• Collaborate with site personnel to address security-related concerns and support the overall operation of the logistics and distribution facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
