As a Security Professional - Access Control - Afternoon Shift in Holland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage production environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This role requires agility and reliability as you support a caring and innovative workplace culture.

Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the food and beverage production environment.
• Document and report any unusual activities or incidents according to site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities and support evacuation procedures when required.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
