Job summary

JMARK is seeking a Security Product Engineer to join our team to protect both JMARK and client environments from evolving cybersecurity threats. This hands-on role focuses on security incidents, vulnerabilities, infrastructure, and security tooling, with an emphasis on a security-first mindset.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in infrastructure and cybersecurity, experience in incident response, vulnerability management, and SIEM, and familiarity with Cisco switching and firewall

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation in infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Experience in security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management.
• Experience with Cisco switching and firewall technologies.
• Experience with SIEM, log analysis, and monitoring.
• MSP or multi-client environments is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical escalation point for security alerts, incidents, vulnerabilities, and security products.
• Coordinate incident response activities for client and internal incidents, including investigation, containment, remediation, documentation, and post-incident review.
• Manage vulnerability and patch management processes, identify vulnerabilities, prioritize remediation, track progress, and verify completion.
• Monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities and determine appropriate response or remediation.
• Administer, tune, and improve security tools and platforms.
• Work with SIEM and other security monitoring technologies to investigate alerts and improve detection capabilities.
• Assist with evaluation, configuration, and ongoing management of security products.
• Provide guidance related to network security, firewalls, switching, segmentation, and secure design.
