Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer at $16.77 per hour. The role will serve and safeguard clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more, using our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability, building a varied site experience and growth opportunities.

This flexible position may include irregular shifts with little advance notice. Candidates must meet the qualifications listed, including a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screening required by Allied Universal.
• Valid driver’s license may be required to operate company or client vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized entry.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper property removal.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain required logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary under site Post Orders.
