Job summary

CoolSoft seeks a Security Communication Analyst to develop and maintain information security policies and workforce training. You will work with the CISO and Security Team Lead to implement controls and ensure policy compliance across staff and leadership.

The role covers daily operations of security controls, risk assessment, and coordination with the GRC team to improve program effectiveness. Open to nationwide candidates with 100% remote options.

Qualifications

• Information Security Risk Assessment: identifies, analyzes, evaluates, and documents information security risks.
• Risk Management: measure, monitor and manage IT security, privacy, and regulatory risks.
• Control Implementation: assist in ISO 27001, NIST, CSC frameworks and gap analyses.
• Coordination: coordinate with GRC to align goals and metrics with the org or mission.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain information security policies and workforce training.
• Provide guidance on policy interpretation and compliance across staff and leaders.
• Lead projects to implement new security controls and monitor policy adherence.
• Operate security control systems and monitor compliance daily, weekly, monthly.
