Everforth Apex is seeking a Security Project Manager in Stratford, CT (Hybrid) to lead a critical regulatory compliance program. You will oversee a third-party assessment, coordinate with the vendor, and drive evidence collection and remediation across multiple security controls.

The role requires 5+ years in security risk assessments or audits, strong governance and communication skills, and the ability to manage scope in a high-pressure regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Associate CISO to manage the project lifecycle, timelines, and status reporting.
• Coordinate with the third-party assessment vendor to manage scheduling, deliverables, and prevent scope creep.
• Organize and manage data and evidence collection to ensure seamless validation by assessors.
• Track identified control gaps, communicate risks to internal technical teams, and project-manage remediation activities.
• Oversee work tracking for initiatives including Incident Response Plan (IRP) updates, MFA, and DLP implementation.
