Job summary

Westgate Resorts in Las Vegas is seeking a Security Officer to patrol assigned areas, respond to calls, and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. You will perform proactive enforcement, manage incidents, and communicate clearly with the dispatcher and supervisors.

Responsibilities include patrolling by foot, vehicle, or bike, observing CCTV, assisting guests, and escorting casino assets as needed while following property guidelines.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Ability to obtain/renew required licenses or certifications (gaming permit, CPR, first aid, driving license).

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned area, stand/move for up to 3 hours, observe risks and disturbances.
• Drive department vehicle or bicycle to patrol parking areas and property perimeter.
• Observe CCTV monitors for unusual activity and respond to emergencies.
• Provide guest/employee safety instructions and guidance as directed.
• Record accurate incident details and communicate via radios/phones to dispatcher and supervisors.
