Job summary

Research And Developement Industries Inc is seeking a dependable Security Officer for a combined Warehouse Officer and Vehicle Patrol role. You will patrol, monitor access, perform inspections, and document activities to maintain site security.

The ideal candidate holds a valid guard card, driver’s license, and experience in security operations. You will work outdoors across warehouse and parking areas with a strong customer-service presence.

Qualifications

• Valid Guard Card required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Experience in security, patrol, or access control is preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently within assigned authority.
• Familiar with smartphones, radios, GPS, and reporting platforms.
• Capable of vehicle patrols and prolonged standing/walking.
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Understanding of access control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous vehicle and foot patrols across all areas.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter threats.
• Inspect parking, fences, gates, doors, and docks.
• Perform QR checkpoint scans every 30 minutes.
• Identify and report breaches, hazards, and malfunctions.
• Control access at gates, entrances, and docks.
• Verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel.
• Enforce after-hours access restrictions as required.
• Document DARs, logs, and incident reports accurately.
• Communicate with Dispatch and site management about incidents.
