Bulwark Protection Serivces, LLC is seeking a professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Security Officer to staff an industrial facility with high truck traffic and strict safety requirements. This position is responsible for access control, traffic management, patrols, PPE enforcement, and incident documentation. The ideal candidate is confident communicating with truck drivers and employees, comfortable using mobile technology, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Access Control & Truck Traffic Management

• Control and manage heavy truck traffic, ensuring safe and efficient entry, exit, and on-site movement.
• Verify driver credentials, delivery paperwork, and authorization prior to granting access.
• Direct truck drivers to designated loading, unloading, and staging areas.
• Enforce site traffic rules, speed limits, and safety procedures.
• Ensure all truck drivers comply with required PPE standards before entering designated areas.

Patrol & Site Security

• Conduct thorough property patrols by scanning assigned checkpoints and geofences.
• Perform patrols at least every two (2) hours after maintenance has left the site.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or maintenance issues.
• Photograph and document any maintenance concerns and notify on-site or on-call maintenance personnel.

Customer Service & Professional Presence

• Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter criminal activity.
• Provide courteous assistance and clear direction to employees, visitors, vendors, and truck drivers.
• Maintain accurate visitor and vendor sign-in/sign-out logs per client requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, site management, and emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to give clear, firm directions
• High level of situational awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic and industrial environments
• Comfortable using mobile applications for timekeeping and reporting
• Prior experience in security, access control, traffic control, logistics, or industrial sites preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
