Position Details

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Pay Range: $18.75

Schedule:

• Consistent 12-hour shifts (3-4 per week)
• Evening/Night (Wed-Fri or Sun-Tues alternating Saturdays): 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required

What You’ll Do

• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of properties, courtyards, pools, and high-value areas
• Ensure all access points are properly secured and safety standards maintained
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence
• Mentor and assist newer officers, reinforcing company policies and best practices
• Support training and team development to uphold the highest standards of service

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older for unarmed security officer roles; 21+ for armed security guard roles.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must pass a background check in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (where permitted by law).
• Security guard licensing/certification may be required depending on state or local regulations (must be obtained prior to employment).
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred but Not Required: Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours)
• Ability to conduct foot patrols, including stair climbing
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in heat and humidity
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds as needed
