The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills, be able to handle crises, stand and walk most of the shift, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to work at client site and handle crises calmly.
• Standing and/or walking for majority of shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of residents and employees.
• Provide high quality security services to protect people and property.
• Patrol the facility on foot.
• Respond to emergencies and fire alarms; notify appropriate departments.
• Answer phones with proper etiquette.
• Greet guests and employees cheerfully.
• Build and maintain relationships with client staff and guests.
• Maintain reports and confidentiality of resident information.
• Escort residents/visitors to parking areas when required.
• Perform security lock procedures on apartments when required.
• Conduct interior and exterior rounds of Westminster property.
