Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Patrol Driver with TWIC in Wilmington, CA. This part-time role offers fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our platform.

The position pays $19.00 per hour with evening hours Saturday 10 PM to 6 AM, and requires TSA TWIC, a valid driver's license, and high school diploma. You will help protect people and property while gaining hands-on experience with flexible

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors, following site procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of the facility to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access; verify credentials and maintain entry records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms; notify contacts and document actions.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain clear communication with leadership and site staff.

Position Description

As a Security Patrol Driver with TWIC in Wilmington, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Saturday, 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution terminal.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and operational areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery vehicles in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and maintain required entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document activities accurately.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel, and follow post orders and security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
