• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, solution-minded manner and notify appropriate contacts.
• Observe and report security concerns and policy violations in a logistics environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal buildings, access points, parking areas, loading and distribution areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations while maintaining a professional presence in a logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
