Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Riverside, CA. This unarmed patrol position supports a government transportation location, conducting routine security patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required, with pepper spray and CPR certifications preferred. Full-time schedule with evening shifts; you will prepare reports and logs, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify emergency services and/or site contacts according to established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with the public.
