• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and communicate observations to responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking, and perimeter locations.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs related to visitor activity, incidents, and shift handoffs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized individuals according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to visitor activity, incidents, access-control events, and shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
