Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider in North America, seeks a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Charlottesville, VA. You will protect clients across utilities and other industries, perform routine patrols, monitor access, and assist visitors with professionalism and courtesy.

The full-time position requires a valid driver’s license, with Guard Card or license and badge experience preferred.

Qualifications

A valid driver's license is required per policy.
Guard Card or license preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities-related location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report per site protocols.
Conduct regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity reports and shift handoffs per Allied Universal procedures.
