Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have Valid State BSIS California Guard Card.
• At least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Essential Computer Competencies.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Must be Comfortable with Outdoor Environment in Diverse Weather Conditions.
• Previous security experience is a PLUS!
• Must successfully pass Pre-Employment Background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Observe surroundings and identify signs of suspicious activity or disorderly conduct.
• Monitor access points; verify badges and prevent tailgating; deny unauthorized entry.
• Respond to emergencies with swift action, evacuate if needed and call for help.
• Act as a visible deterrent and patrol areas to prevent theft or vandalism.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents and disturbances for investigations.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors and contractors.
