Job summary

Bellingham at West Chester is seeking a hospitality-focused Security Officer to greet residents, guests, and staff with warmth and professionalism. This role acts as the first face visitors see and helps maintain a safe environment by performing rounds, responding to alarms, and building rapport with residents and families.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, quick decision-making, and readiness for first aid/first responder training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to make decisions quickly and in accordance with established protocol.
• Must have or be willing to be trained in first responder and first aid training.
• One year experience in security preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property.
• Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
• Develops and maintains a good working rapport with residents, family members, visitors, and personnel to assure that security procedures meet the needs of the facility.
• Assists with special security needs as they arise involving employees, visitors, and other members of the community.
• Provides written report of any community incident during the shift that Director of Facilities and other administration may need to be aware of.
• Maintains entrances in facility for safe passage at all times. Shovels and keeps clear exit door walkways during and after snowstorms.

Bellingham at West Chester is recruiting for a hospitality focused Security. This role is responsible for meeting and greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner on a daily basis. They are the first face someone sees when visiting our community!

Schedule

Every Saturday and Sunday - Overnight

Salary

$16/hour

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Security Office:
