As a Security Operations Technician with Epic Hosting, you will be part of a SOC team that secures Epic's SaaS infrastructure for some of the largest healthcare organizations in the country. You’ll identify security events in the environment and coordinate investigation and response across multiple teams. You will use your ability to think critically to determine long-term process improvements rather than quick temporary solutions. Required qualifications include familiarity with enterprise firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, VPNs, application whitelisting, data loss prevention, log analysis, monitoring, system/network auditing, and experience working in a security operations center. Security certifications such as GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, or Security+ are a plus. Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, access management, Active Directory, SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools are beneficial. Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed), eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, availability for various shifts, and COVID-19 vaccination are also required.
As a member of the Hosting team at Epic, your responsibilities include following policies and procedures, escalating potential security incidents, and meeting all security responsibilities outlined in policies and procedures.
