Responsibilities

• Oversee the activity and day-to-day operations of security staff on the assigned shift.
• Provide guidance and leadership to security staff on departmental issues and enforcement of policies.
• Evaluate incidents of a serious security or sensitive nature and take appropriate action including notifications.
• Complete security audits quarterly or as assigned and ensure security reports are accurate and timely.
• Support leadership in emergency response and related drills.
• Maintain annual certifications and complete training requirements within required time frames.
• Oversee scheduling to avoid unauthorized overtime and ensure coverage.
