Job Description:

Job information Security Operations Senior Engineer from the Company Dynapar, located in Remote, United States. This job opening is open to job seekers with a Bachelor Degree in a related field.

Job Responsibility:

The Security Operations Senior Engineer will develop, implement, and monitor security controls for the protection of computer systems, networks, and data. This position includes identifying threats, defining system security requirements, developing security architecture and solutions, managing security tools and technologies, leading the response to security incidents, and reporting against KPIs.

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the effectiveness of Security and Compliance operations.
• Evaluate security systems and identify opportunities for security automation and improvements.
• Test and identify potential network and system security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement cost-effective security solutions to mitigate risks and enhance system security.
• Monitor and audit on-prem, cloud, and endpoint infrastructure with security tools.
• Perform risk assessments to identify security issues and provide recommendations.
• Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
• Support corporate patching initiatives and prevent intrusions.

Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred. 10+ years of practical experience implementing and deploying security controls. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft and Linux server operating systems. Working knowledge of scripting languages, including Powershell, Python, Bash, or VB Script.

• Familiarity with automation platforms, such as Ansible and Chef.
• Experience with Splunk, SIEM technology, and Carbon Black.
• Knowledge of identity management, VPN, SSO, MFA, and authentication standard methodologies.
• Understanding of IS impacts of external industry and Governmental regulations.
