Job summary

Aegis AI Security is seeking a Security Administrator to maintain a secure environment, run vulnerability workflows, monitor our SIEM, and harden endpoints. You will also oversee MDM, patching, and identity/access handling across our fleet.

This growth role is ideal if you’re transitioning from IT support into security operations or already have some security experience, with opportunities to shape how we run these areas.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of hands-on IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
• Solid cloud and identity fundamentals: SSO, MFA, and access management.
• Demonstrated interest in security: Security+ or related coursework counts.
• Comfortable learning new tools independently and willing to ask questions when needed.
• Strong written communication with clear tickets and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Vulnerability management: Run remediation workflows, track findings and coordinate fixes with engineering.
• SIEM monitoring & tuning: Watch alerts and reduce noise while catching critical issues.
• Identity & access management: Harden identity stack and conduct access reviews.
• MDM administration: Manage device enrollment, profiles and security policies.
• Endpoint patching & updates: Keep OS/applications current and track compliance.
• Software review & packaging: Review, package, and deploy software to endpoints.
• IT support: Resolve tickets for accounts, devices, access, and related issues.
• Automate: Streamline repetitive tasks to focus on security priorities.
