Salary: $92,892/year

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday (9am-5pm) + Friday-Saturday (6am-2pm). This salaried position requires flexibility when operationally needed.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Security Lead, the Operations Manager provides direct supervision for Shift Supervisors and Officers and acts as a liaison between Securitas and the client in the absence of the Security Services Director. The role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel, preparing and coordinating staffing and scheduling, and enforcing regulations and directives for the site.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy.
• Provide lead direction at assigned client sites, ensure post orders are followed, tours are completed, and reports are filed.
• Notify proper authorities and the client in emergency situations.
• Counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate; seek advice from management or client representatives; document actions.
• Assist in training Security Officers and reviewing post orders.
• Submit payroll and personnel information to the company.
• Ensure adequate security coverage of all posts in coordination with company management.
• Prepare, file, and submit required reports.
• Inspect posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meet with authorized client representatives to provide assurance that all security requirements are met and deliver quality customer service.
• Manage projects assigned by the Security Services Director or client representative.
• Work to reduce overtime and understand client contract and financial obligations.

Minimum Qualifications at Entry

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable communication (e.g., pager or phone).
• Must have reliable transportation (public or private).
• Must have legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to participate in pre‑employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Education/Experience: Associate’s Degree and 3 years of responsible experience in the security industry or business management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential functions.
