Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day physical security operations for the assigned Microsoft corporate location.
• Support Regional Program Manager to ensure high-quality security services and client satisfaction.
• Develop, track, and present monthly operational reports, trend analyses, and metrics.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and retention of security personnel.
• Implement performance metrics, scorecards, and reporting tools to drive operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Microsoft stakeholders, vendor partners, Global Security teams, and local leadership.
• Coordinate security planning and support for special events, including access control, visitor management, logistics, and event security.

About the Role

As a Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all security operations and service delivery for a designated Microsoft corporate location. This position plays a critical role in supporting the Microsoft account by ensuring operational excellence, exceptional customer service, effective staffing, security program management, and continuous process improvement.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with experience managing security operations in a corporate environment. They are highly organized, customer-focused, data-driven, and capable of building strong partnerships with stakeholders while maintaining a high-performing security team.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

• Manage the day-to-day physical security operations for the assigned Microsoft corporate location.
• Support the Regional Program Manager in ensuring high-quality security services and exceptional client satisfaction.
• Develop, track, and present monthly operational reports, trend analyses, and metrics for business reviews.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and retention of security personnel.
• Implement performance metrics, scorecards, and reporting tools to drive operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Microsoft stakeholders, vendor partners, Global Security teams, and local leadership to support security initiatives and resolve operational concerns.
• Coordinate security planning and support for special events, including access control, visitor management, logistics, and event security.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Ability to meet all applicable licensing and certification requirements for the assigned account and jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in security operations, military service, law enforcement, business management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of physical security operations, security procedures, staffing management, reporting, and customer service delivery.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible schedules as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Previous management experience within corporate security, contract security, service operations, or program management environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level or corporate technology clients.
• Experience with Lenel access control systems, CCTV monitoring platforms, and 24/7 Security Operations Centers.
• Professional certifications related to security management, emergency management, or business operations.

Compensation Information

Pay Range: $80,000 to $85,000 Annually

Actual compensation is determined by factors including experience, qualifications, work location, applicable laws, and business needs.
