Job summary

Saint Francis Ministries seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst to integrate SIEM/SOC and GRC, supporting audit leadership and risk management. You will align technical controls with regulatory needs and business risk, guiding security decisions across environments.

The role emphasizes threat detection, policy development, and coordination of audits (SOC 1/2, HIPAA) with a focus on continuous compliance and security improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cyber security with 1 year of Cybersecurity experience or 2 years with an associate degree.
• Certification such as Network+, Security+ or CySA+, PenTest+ is preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years or a combination of education and experience in Cyber Security/IT with Azure and Barracuda.
• Must be 21 years of age; able to pass background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM, Microsoft Azure, email protection, endpoint protection, and user reports.
• Develop, tune, and maintain SIEM rules, alerts, and dashboards for better detection.
• Perform log analysis across endpoints, firewalls, identity providers, and cloud platforms.
• Lead incident detection, triage, and response across identity, endpoint, network, and cloud.
• Assist and coordinate external audits including SOC 1/2 and HIPAA risk assessments.
• Ensure audit readiness and continuous compliance across security domains.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and documentation.
