Job summary

Collibra's Security Operations & Engineering team is seeking a seasoned Security Engineer to design, build, and operate systems that protect data, infrastructure, and customers. You will embed zero-trust principles, automate detection and response, and collaborate across the business to strengthen resilience.

Responsibilities include designing secure cloud architectures, managing threat detection and incident response, and ensuring compliance with ISO/NIST/SOC2 while improving security posture

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in information security or security engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or Information Security or related field.
• US citizen and reside in the United States.
• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to solve security challenges.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures embedding zero-trust principles.
• Manage threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Lead incident response and use threat intelligence to contain threats.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, CIS, SOC 2 and similar standards.
• Support internal and external security audits with required documentation.
