Job summary

Arch is a fast-growing financial technology company seeking a Security Operations Engineer to join a hands-on security team in NYC. You will bridge security findings with engineers, supporting vulnerability management and detection programs as Arch scales.

You will own vulnerability scanning, SIEM operations, and security logging efforts, contributing to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance while collaborating across a nimble team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a small, fast-paced security team.
• Hands-on vulnerability management and detection engineering.
• Knowledge of OWASP, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and SOC 2.
• Experience with AWS cloud security (IAM, VPC, Secrets Manager).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Collaborative mindset for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability scanning, triage, and remediation tracking.
• Maintain and refine SIEM/SOC detections for DLP, IoC, and cloud threats.
• Maintain security logging and audit processes for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 requirements.
• Support infrastructure security checks and investigations.
• Engage in vendor security due diligence and IT asset management.
