Job summary

CDW is seeking a data governance and security operations professional for a 6 month contract-to-hire in West Des Moines, IA. The role requires Purview deployment experience and a strong data inventory background, with SOC monitoring and incident response capabilities.

Knowledge of DLP, APIs and regulations is beneficial to ensure governance and compliance. The position is onsite 4 days a week in West Des Moines, reflecting a hands-on security operations and governance focus to support data

Qualifications

• Experience deploying Purview.
• Background in data governance or data security is beneficial.
• Strong data inventory experience required.
• SOC monitoring, incident investigation and response experience preferred.
• Understanding of DLP, APIs and relevant regulations is important.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Purview for data governance and cataloging.
• Monitor security-related logs and respond to incidents as part of SOC processes.
• Leverage data governance and data security best practices to reduce risk and improve compliance.
• Coordinate with security teams to implement DLP controls and ensure regulatory alignment.

• Security Operations background, monitoring logs, investigating/responding to potential incidents, worked with a SOC before
