Ideal candidates have 2-5 years in information security or related IT fields, hands-on Azure security experience, and familiarity with Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, CA.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience supporting security initiatives within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and related Microsoft security technologies.
• Strong understanding of security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud security.
• Understanding of networking, identity management, operating systems, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Information Security Analyst

District Partners has been engaged by a well-established trade association to identify an Information Security Analyst who can help strengthen security operations and support a Microsoft Azure-based technology environment. The ideal candidate built their foundation in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or IT operations before expanding into cybersecurity. What You Bring To The Table

• 2-5 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Hands-on experience supporting security initiatives within Microsoft Azure environments
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and related Microsoft security technologies
• Strong understanding of security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud security
• Understanding of networking, identity management, operating systems, and enterprise infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Security+, CISSP, SC-200, AZ-500, or similar certifications
• Experience supporting Microsoft security technologies within Azure environments

• Experience working within a small-to-medium sized organization where security professionals maintain broad ownership

• Compensation: $105,000 - $116,000 depending on experience
• Full-time direct hire opportunity
• Onsite five days per week during the first 90 days
• Eligible for a 3 days onsite / 2 days remote schedule following successful completion of the onboarding period
