Job summary

St. Mary's Credit Union in Marlborough, MA is seeking an IT Security Analyst to join the IT Security team in a hybrid role at our main office. You will operate core security and compliance processes and coordinate with internal and external partners to protect member data.

The ideal candidate has hands-on security experience, strong process discipline, and the ability to work across IT, business units, and third-party providers in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on IT security experience.
• Experience operating vulnerability or configuration scanning tools and managing findings.
• Experience triaging security alerts or incidents and maintaining incident documentation.
• Knowledge of identity and access management and access workflows.
• Experience in banking, credit unions, financial services, or regulated industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate vulnerability scanning tools across servers, workstations, networks, apps, and other assets.
• Review scan results, assess severity, and track remediation to closure.
• Coordinate with IT admins, vendors, and testers to address findings.
• Maintain accurate vulnerability records, evidence, aging info, and reports.
• Triage, investigate, document, and track security alerts and incidents.
• Assist with security and compliance controls, audits, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to improve security workflows.
