Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Security Operations Center Specialist to monitor alarms and alerts from the Huntington Bank facility in Columbus, OH.

The role involves responding to suspicious activity calls, creating detailed incident reports, and coordinating with security and other teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year in emergency call or security, and strong communication skills; a Bachelors degree and dispatch experience

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls about suspicious activity or security events.

• Receives tactical direction from the SOC Lead and reports to the SOC Manager.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

This position will sit at the Huntington Bank 7 Easton Oval Office in Columbus, OH 43219.

Summary:

Huntington is looking for qualified candidates to become Security Operations Center Specialists.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reports directly to the Security Operations Center Manager, but takes tactical direction from Security Operations Center Lead.
• Answers incoming calls regarding suspicious activity and/or security related events.
• Creates reports and maintains detailed logs of all calls and activities.
• Contacts relevant security and non-security colleagues to coordinate response or for assistance resolving issues.
• Monitors complex alarm and surveillance systems and coordinates appropriate response to alerts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED
• 1 years of experience either in an emergency call center or security experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technology experience (i.e. MS Office)
• Experience working in a dispatch or alarm monitoring center
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Work effectively within a high intensity environment

Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
