Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• Criminal background check required by law.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while following applicable policies, procedures, and instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
