Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center Officer to oversee a Commercial Building in the Chelsea Area of Manhattan. You will be responsible for monitoring CCTV, responding to incidents, and ensuring safety procedures while delivering strong customer service during overnight shifts.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with CCure9000 and Genetec. Equal opportunity employer; full-time position in NYC area.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable security experience.
• Background check conducted per federal, state and local laws; compliant with policies.
• Drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; valid driver's license for driving positions only.
• Minimum two years of security experience.
• SOC Operator knowledge of CCure9000 and Genetec.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols around the business and perimeter; vary by client site.
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms.
• Monitor and operate facility computer systems as assigned.
• Handle security issues or emergencies and contact Emergency Services when needed.

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center Officer to oversee a Commercial Building in the Chelsea Area of Manhattan

• Position Is: Full Time
• Work Shifts Available: Overnight
• Work Days Available: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Must exhibit great customer service skills, will be interacting with the general public on a daily basis and interaction with the client and staff
• Hourly payrate: $28.85 / hour

As a Security Operations Center Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor closed circuit television systems and alarms.
• Monitor and operate facility computers systems regularly, as assigned.
• Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately. Contact Emergency Services, such as EMT, Fire Dept., etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

• Candidate should have the minimum of two years of security experience
