Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center Officer to oversee a Bank Headquarters located in Lower Manhattan. This full-time role includes an overnight shift from 11 PM to 7 AM with a Tuesday–Saturday workweek.

You will need a NYS Security Guard License and 2+ years of security experience, with preferred familiarity of CCURE800 or GENETEC. Salary ranges $22.25–$23.25 per hour, plus health insurance and 401k benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of security experience.
• Frontline customer service and safety interaction are required.
• Experience with security systems CCURE800 or GENETEC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce safety procedures on site.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the client site.
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms.
• Operate facility computer systems as needed.
• Coordinate with emergency services when required.

• Position is: Full Time
• Work Shifts Available: Overnight (11PM - 7AM)
• Workdays Available: Tuesday - Saturday
• Pay Range: $22.25 - $23.25 / hour
• Must exhibit great customer service skills, will be interacting with the general public on a daily basis and interaction with client and staff

Requirements:

• Must possess New York State Security Guard License
• 2+ Years of Security Experience
• Preferred Previous Security Operations Center Experience
  • Preferred knowledge of varous Security Operations Systems and Programs such as CCURE800 and GENETEC

As a Security Operations Center Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor closed circuit television systems and alarms.
• Monitor and operate facility computers systems regularly, as assigned.
• Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately. Contact Emergency Services, such as EMT, Fire Dept., etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
