Job summary

Holland & Knight is seeking an IT Security Analyst to monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber security threats from our global operations centers in Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX. The role involves coordinating with teams and supporting security tools.

You'll work on vulnerabilities, SIEM, EDR, and incident response, with on-call shifts and a focus on risk mitigation, governance, and effective security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required.
• 4+ years of experience in a technical security role or related field preferred.
• Experience with SIEM or scalable log management solutions and vulnerability scanning (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7).
• Experience in monitoring/administrating security controls (firewalls, web filters, anti-virus).
• Certifications such as SANS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events from diverse devices.
• Prioritize tasks, work independently or with a team.
• Operate security tools and agents; support remediation efforts.
